The magnificent Oiseaux de Paradis ring
Van Cleef & Arpels Fauna Oiseaux De Paradis Ring VCARN5P400
Description
an Cleef & Arpels launched these two Oiseaux de Paradis series works in the 2012 winter new products, interpreting the quiet atmosphere of winter with pure white. These two pieces of jewelry are based on the theme of “Bird Of Paradise” (Bird Of Paradise), through smooth arcs to present the posture of flying birds.
The wings and tail feathers of “Bird of Paradise” are particularly slender. Legend has it that this bird never stops flying in the air. In 1920, Van Cleef & Arpels imitated the Bird of Paradise for the first time in a platinum diamond brooch, and in 1942 tried to express the vivid feather colors of the Bird of Paradise in rubies, sapphires and gold.
This Oiseaux de Paradis ring is made of diamonds and white gold, which clearly outlines each wing of the bird of paradise. One wing is slightly raised, and the other side is naturally stretched. The slender tail feathers are blown by the wind to form a natural curl. . The craftsman neatly arranged diamonds of different sizes according to the orbit of the wings, and the neck and abdomen were paved with snowflakes.
In addition to the ring works, the Oiseaux de Paradis earrings also present the bird-of-paradise theme with full-diamond inlays, inlaid with 369 brilliant-cut diamonds with a total weight of 4.02 carats.
