This Cosmograph Daytona 116599TBR features a custom diamond setting with G/H color VS-SI1 round brilliant diamonds on the case and dial .
Introduced in 1963, the Cosmograph Daytona was designed to meet the demands of professional racing drivers. It is an icon forever joined in name and function to the high-performance world of motor sport. More than 50 years after its creation, the Cosmograph Daytona remains in a class of its own among sport chronographs and continues to transcend time.
The Cosmograph Daytona is equipped with calibre 4130, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement developed and manufactured by Rolex. Its architecture incorporates fewer components than a standard chronograph, thereby enhancing the movement’s reliability. It also saves space, making it possible to house a large mainspring and delivers a power reserve of 72 hours.
The Cosmograph Daytona is inextricably linked to the world of motor racing. It allows drivers to measure elapsed time and read average speeds on its trademark tachymetric bezel. The watch pays tribute to a place – Daytona, Florida – where passion for speed and racing developed in the early 20th century. The name embodies the historic and privileged bonds between Rolex and motor sport, which were strengthened in 2013 by the brand’s entry into the world of Formula 1® racing as Global Partner and Official Timepiece.
*Each Coral creation is unique. As a result, size, carat weight and stone qualities can vary slightly from one creation to another.

Real luxury is understanding quality, and having the time to enjoy it.
We make watches VS boutique watches. Both have real diamonds & precious gemstones of similar size, quality and quantity.
However, custom set watches have had the stones added outside of the manufacturers, in our case, in-house by our expert diamond setters. We hand-select all of our diamonds specifically for our customised watches, and for certain designs, we also incorporate precious coloured stones such as Rubies, Sapphires & Emeralds.
At Coral, not only do we sell bespoke luxury timepieces, we also offer you the ability to customise a watch already in your own collection. Taking inspiration from one of our stock pieces and adapting to suit your requirements, or create something totally unique.
We can customise most luxury watch brands, such as Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Richard Mille, Hublot and so on. Once we receive your watch, most customisations can be completed in around 5-7 working days, some more complex projects may take up to 3-4 weeks.
We offer an impressive array of customization options to suit your taste and budget, from simply adding a new bezel to more complex custom projects. We use only hand-selected diamonds and our standard is G color (clear white) VS/SI clarity. However, clients may request a higher color and/or clarity grade for these diamonds if desired. We will never use substandard diamond quality on any of our pieces. All custom services are backed by a full 2 year guarantee.
This option is where we diamond-set only the shoulder parts or lugs of the watch and add a custom bezel.
This option means that we only set diamonds in the center link of the bracelet.
Please note that the watch in the photo also has the shoulders set and we have a custom bezel installed. It is not common for customers to choose to set only the center link of the bracelet, but it is possible.
.
This option is where we build a completely custom piece. The baguette cut diamonds are set invisibly and we build the metal around the stones. This type of complex project can take up to 1 month.
.
We offer a variety of fully paved ‘covert’ diamond dials. To make this dial we remove the original crown and our skilled watchmakers will fit and assemble it onto a new custom pavé dial.
.
This option is where we fully all parts of the watch – case, shoulders, bracelet, buckle, and bezel. We have used pavé or ‘honeycomb’ setting technique.
.
This option is where we fully all parts of the watch – case, shoulders, bracelet, buckle, and bezel. We have used our traditional setting technique.
.
This option means that we diamond set all the steel parts of the watch – the shoulders, the case bracelet outer bracelet and the clasp.
.
The bezel is the ring that surrounds the crystal to hold it in place. Our bezels are usually made of gold, but can also be made of other materials such as platinum, steel or a combination of various metals. We intricately set our bezels with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and other precious stones. We also offer a variety of diamond setting techniques and gemstone cuts – such as brilliant, princess, pavé and baguette.
In most cases, we will remove the original bezel and our skilled watchmakers will install the new custom bezel into your watch. Your original bezel will be returned to you and can be reinstalled on your watch at any time.
In some models, we are unable to install the new custom bezel, so we will set the diamonds/gems on the original parts. In this case, once the custom work is completed, it cannot be reversed.
The Coral traditional diamond setting is whereby all of the stones are positioned in straight lines. We also offer pavé setting whereby the stones are positioned closer together in a honeycomb pattern (less gaps, more diamonds, minimal edges).
We have a lot of clients who like to choose the traditional diamond setting for the main case of the watch paired with a pavé set diamond bezel. The pavé bezels also come in one, two or three rows of diamonds.
All of our timepieces offer something unique, unexpected and perfectly balanced, which is exactly what our worldwide client base is looking for. Our immense popularity is derived from our dedication to creating the most exquisite timepieces when it comes to bespoke luxury.
In the case of diamonds, our standard is G colour (clear white) VS/SI 1 in clarity. However it is possible, should the customer require, to change the colour and clarity of these stones. On all of our stock watches, we use the above-stated colour and clarity as we believe it gives the perfect balance between quality and affordability.
Diamond grading can be explained simply as follows, the diamond colour scale starts at D (the most colourless) through to Z (very noticeably yellow in colour). The clarity scale starts at flawless through to included and is also numbered 1,2,3 with the lowest of these numbers meaning the tail part of that clarity grading. To summarise, the debate between custom & factory will always rage on. Both have their benefits and drawbacks. What we provide is an alternative. Our clients can buy/create something truly unique and bespoke to them at a more affordable price, without compromising on quality.
Based in Shenzhen, we are a small team of experts who ensure that every single timepiece created is given a truly one-on-one experience. Our service provides hand-crafted quality to a whole new level. We work with clients from all over the world, and pride ourselves on being able to give a truly memorable experience with every watch purchased.
All of our diamond-setting is completed in-house at our Shenzhen workshop. We source all of our diamonds from leading suppliers throughout Russia, Australia, Canada and India.
Whilst Rolex watches are our main brand of focus, we also customise many other luxury watch brands including Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Richard Mille and so on.
