Van Cleef & Arpels presents the “Zodiaque” collection, a collection of pendants based on the twelve constellations of the zodiac, interpreting their iconography and symbols. The new collection is composed of two sets of pieces, decorated with gold sculptures and sliced stones, in a subtle and poetic style.
The Zodiaque collection continues Van Cleef & Arpels’ 1950s design of lucky charms with a vintage-inspired medallion structure. The round pendant is adjusted to an easy-to-wear 21mm size for everyday use, and the edges of the pendant reveal aged details reminiscent of the traces left by heirloom jewelry through time.
The new piece is available in yellow gold and rose gold – the yellow gold version features traditional relief motifs to illustrate the twelve constellations of the zodiac, as you can see the Taurus looking back, the scales tilting, and the archer with his bow open, each with an outstanding three-dimensional look; the back of the pendant reveals the abstract symbols of the constellations, engraved with the dates of the corresponding signs.

The rose gold version is decorated with slices of gemstones, using lapis lazuli, turquoise, malachite and 12 other natural gemstones as a backing, using unique tones and patterns to set off the gold engraving pattern – the front of the pendant captures partial constellation totems, showing rich decorative effects such as graining, engraving and polishing; the back is decorated with constellation symbols and star patterns. The back is decorated with constellation symbols and stars, and the outer ring is marked with the name and date of the constellation, like the inscription on a badge.
